Lisa Erickson, MS, LMHC., provides individual psychotherapy, case consultation and clinical supervision from her office in Seattle. She is influence by object relations and likes doing in-depth psychotherapy with a developmental perspective. She has been in private practice since 1987 specializing in working with adult giftedness, addictions, depression, Axis II diagnoses, and/or histories of physical and sexual abuse.
Lisa graduated from the University of Kansas in 1975 with a double major in psychology and human development and family life. She got her masters of science degree in counseling psychology in 1981 from the University of Kansas.
Lisa has trained other clinicians since the late 1970's. She has taught substance abuse treatment in the graduate psychology program at Antioch University since the late 1980's and professional ethics periodically since 2003. She has also taught many continuing education programs around the state.
She is the past president of the Seattle Counselors Association, the Washington Mental Health Counselors Association and is a past co-chair of the Department of Health Advisory Committee for Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Social Workers.
