Advanced Clinical Supervision: Developing Your Supervision Expertise
Presented and developed by Yvonne Owen, PhD
This workshop is designed for those clinicians that have completed their clinical supervision training and would like further assistance in developing their skills, expertise and confidence in supervision. Attendees will develop in more depth the concepts and skills introduced in the clinical supervision workshops and this training will have a solid clinical, experiential emphasis. Participants will have the opportunity to practice skill development with materials provided by the instructor based on developmental and process models of supervision. Ethical questions will be raised in clinical cases, and issues coming from encounters with challenging supervisees will be welcomed. The environment will continue to be one of encouragement, support and engagement on all levels, providing optimal conditions for learning.
